And they lived happily ever after

Well, I had one last day up in the snow. Will, Heather (South Lake Pizza co-worker), and I went up to Stevens on Saturday despite the rain, and the fog, and the fact that we were all really tired. But we didn't stay long. On the 4th run, Heather's face met the snow at an accelerated rate.
Long story short, Heather had a bumpy ride in a Ski Patrol sled and a bumpy ride down the mountain in my Subaru. Will and I got to hang out in the Monroe General Hospital waiting room while the doctors told Heather that she tore the rotator cuff in her shoulder.
Not quite the way I wanted to end the season, especially since the rainbow rail was up for the first time all season. Oh well. At least i didn't tear my rotator cuff.
Now I'm just waiting for the rain to stop so I can go try out my new tent.
The reason I'm here, snow, the reason I'm here, running water...
