Work Weekend
02.15.05 (8:44 am) [edit]
Well, it's official. I have to work up at Stevens this weekend. [see link on left for snow report] I can't decide if this is a good thing or a bad thing. I've kind of enjoyed having the weekends off. Plus, Stevens still only has 44 inches of snow, 4 lifts running, and no snow in the near future. Teaching with only four lifts running and over 10,000 peoople on the mountian will be great fun. (Sarcasm for Ladybug)
But on the other hand, I GET TO GO SNOWBOARDING! Eventhough I just put all of my gear away, going to the mountains every weekend is refreshing and worth the trip. That's how I stay sane. (I drive back and forth to school everyday in traffic: I need something to keep me from road rage.)
Snowboarding (and skiing, I'm not a hater) is so relaxing.
Isaac
P.S. I just sent in my application and money for my Spring Break trip...

ah...you see Ike, the trick is to live south and work/go to school north. That way, you miss traffic in the mornings and evenings...wait, you're screwed alltogether, because you live east.....hehe

But I'd shoot myself if I lived any closer to suburbia. (And yes, Perinnville is considered suburbia.) Lake Stevens is the border between suburbia and the real hick unincorporated Snohomish county.

Embrace the snow! I'd be dying to go up this weekend. Don't let me down.

Is that spring break trip to Southern Illinois University, located in the heart of beautiful Carbondale, IL?
Haha...probably not, since I know its not. But, always worth the effort.

a V12? Now I'm jealous. Not just becasue you get to go to Enchanted Rock, but the fact that you can even consider doing a V12. I can barely do a V2.

Did you ever explicitly say where you're going for spring break?
