Pain
I hurt. I went to a pick-up game of ulimate yesterday -- the weather couldn't have been nicer for a Sunday afternoon. We played for about 2.5 hours, during which I ran more than I have in a year.
Fall and Winter quarter saw the demise of my athleticism. Being an editor for the student newspaper ate up almost 40 hours of my time each week. That's 40 hours per week that I wasn't playing Ultimate. When that ended I started driving down to Sedro-Woolley three days a week so I could stare at a computer screen for the National Park Service. Basically, I sat on my butt all day. (But I was still tired at the end of the day. Explain that one to me.)
So this quarter -- being my last -- I decided to go out with a bang and get back in shape. Heck, I pay $89 in campus fees just for the Rec Center so I might as well use it. Katrina and I have been climbing two days a week and that is helping. But an afternoon of Ultimate is way more intense, which means so is tha pain.

Ultimate Frisbee. It's a mix of soccer and football, but with a frisbee.

Ultimate is awesome. I can't wait to play tomorrow night!
Remember, pain is just weakness leaving the body. Or something hardcore like that.
