A week of Firsts
I had my first caffeine-withdrawl headache. I dropped a class for the first time. I also voted by provisional ballot, which I had never done before. Yes, it's been a week of "firsts." I also printed my first major spelling error in this week's issue of The Western Front, which, coincidentally, was our first 20-page issue. (The WF is usually 12-16 pages.)
This week was also the first time I've been happy about the political direction of our country. The news has been rather bleak lately and I needed a good Liberal pick-me-up: so I watched the election coverage and got to see Barak Obama (who WILL be president someday). As if that wasn't enough, I got to vote against a lot of initiatives, which is always more fun than voting in favor of something.
I also thought about snow. That is not a first.

I'm glad the provisional ballot worked out. Candace is coming home tonight and we will get to happy dance around the republican roasting and outting fire. I'm going to borrower your theime for Freddy's page

I had a week of firsts too! First time I went to visit Alan, first time I saw Dennis Quaid, and first time I bottommed my Subaru out (actually not that good of a story).

Yee haw! Rock on Ike. Looks like I'm slow to the punch here, but yay for a bunch of firsts. I need to work on that :P
