I had forgotten how fun weekends can be when you actually have fun stuff to do. I normally just go grocery shopping, do the laundry, catch up on homework, sleep in, watch movies, and generally do nothing that could be classified as "exciting." Yup, I was Mr. Excitement.

But this weekend was different. I went to CCF (Campus Christian Fellowship) nd discovered that they were having a game night at The Home--that's the house where the interns live. So I went down to High Street and ate free food and played games. Trivial Pursuit didn't last very long, but neither did the brownies and ice cream.

I awoke Saturday to the soothing sounds of NPR. Then I rode my bike to campus and had the best Ultimate practice I have had this season. And the weather was nice too! Could it get any better? It sure did! I spent the afternoon and evening with the people of Restoring Eden--the Christian Envirnmental club I joined last quarter. We did a night hike up to a look-out on Galbraith and then had a potluck. More great food! I love potlucks.

Sunday was more tame, but still more exciting than previous Sunday's because......THE SEAHAWKS WON! I decided that I really wanted to watch the game and couldn't do so at my house so I ended up over at Frog's. I brought over some quality root beer because Alan has taught me that you can't watch football without it. It's just not the same.

And neither is this week. I've decided that this is going to be a good week. Today's forecast calls for some scattered studying followed by intense physical activity late this evening (practice). The extended forecast is looking good too.
