Can you feel it? It's getting colder. (I love it!) I got to be the typical PNW college student this week: I got caught in the rain wearing hiking socks and Chaco's; thankfully I was wearing a black soft-shell jacket so I stayed rather dry; and I escaped into the library and checked out a laptop with wireless and found a comfy couch on which to check my e-mail. To bad I wasn't drinking a coffee to complete the ultimate Seattle-ite picture. (But I do drive a Subaru.)

Speaking of my Subaru, I drove it up to the local movie theater in the mall to see the new Wallace and Grommit movie yesterday. Do yourself a favor and go see this movie; it's classic Wallace and Grommit humor. If I wasn't already busy tonight I'd go see it again. But in this technological age I can just wait until Christmas and there will probably be a boxed set of all the W & G films. (Santa, I know it's pretty early for a Wish List, but please put this on mine. I've been a good student this year.)

Speaking of Santa (and winter and snow), I have caught The Fever. No, not Red Fever. No, not the one you get from living in the dorms. The SNOW Fever. I want snow and I want it now. I made it all summer without longing for that feeling of floating in the Steep and Deep, but that just means that it hit me harder when I finally got it. So don't come too close to me or you catch The Fever too. (If you do, then can I bum a ride up to the slopes?)
