Sure, last week was a full week of class, but this week is actually FULL. It will be a true test of my scheduling abilities. Besides classes, I have Ultimate practice on Mon/Wed/Fri, Fencing club meet on Tuesdays, Wednesday night there is a slide show about Sherpas in Nepal that I'd like to see, and Friday nights is CCF (Campus Christian Fellowship). Let's see if I can really hold down "The College Life."

In Sports this week: Alan, you need not worry about the Silvertips this year. My dad turned 51 on Saturday so we went to the home-opener for the Tips. The Tips sent the Cougars back to Canada with their tail between their legs.

1st Period: Everett had great defense and warded off several shots on goal all while keeping the puck in Cougar territory. Score 1-0
2nd Period: Both teams did a lot of jostling for position during this period but were unfruitful in reaching the net. However, the Cougars looked tired of being on the defense as the Tips kept shooting. Score 1-0
3rd period: Amazing hockey. The Cougs scored on a breakaway 30 seconds in but managed to quickly send a player to the penalty box, which the Tips turned into a goal. Score 2-1. Like True Canadian hockey players, the Cougs spent the rest of the game in and out of the box and basically handed the tips the game. Final Score 5-2.

I hope that didn't bore all of you non-sports fans out there. But I'm really starting to like local hockey. I think it's the best spectator sport out there because it's fast paced, violent, it takes skill, and it's violent. And hockey fans are just plain bezerk.

Go Bezerk for something this week. It's fun.
