Run Forrest Run!
What kind of parents send their kids to the mini week session? Our second week was short because of the 4th and we had the weirdest bunch of campers. We had 3 different campers run away 5 times; since I'm not technically a counselor that means I got to go looking for them. Yup, week two was Forrest Gump Week.
But now it's week three, the weather is looking better, I actually have stuff to do at the rock wall and ropes course, and I will be 20 on Wednesday. Life is good.
Speaking of my birthday, I have officially joined the soft shell movement. My parents bought me a soft shell Marmot jacket from Crags...and it's really nice! I don't know why I didn't get one sooner. Oh wait, they're Mega expensive, that's why.
Don't hold back....Galvanize!

I'm perfectly happy with my Arc'teryx gore-tex and my $7 brooks layer. Did I mention that gore-tex rules all?

GORE TEX DOES NOT RULE ALL!!! I loved my Arc Teryx Gamma MX Softshell jacket... still do, it looks really sleek so a bunch of air doesn't get in there and it was awesome for snowboarding.. you just have to keep up on keeping it watertreated!!
