Well, I made it through the 10 days of staff training. It's going to be a fun year; there are ten returning staff plus an international staff from Germany, England, Sweden, South Africa, and Australia. I can't wait for campers to get here though because then my job will get easier. My partner in crime (Lunchbox) and I had to teach the whole staff how to operate the Low Ropes Course and then we took them all to the climbing wall and the high ropes course. 40 staff + 5 days + lots of other stuff to do = a very tired Rocky.

On the homefront, we got a new puppy; a newfoundland/golden retriever that we named Freddie. He's like a mini wolly mammoth. My younger sister Candace is now driving the tofu-burner (Hyundai Accent) and has a license, so stay off the road until she learns how to work the clutch.

I really like the pace of summer. Especially the pace of summer at camp.
