Vinyl is best
So I recently acquired a record player and I have just discovered that vinyl is so cool. Who ever thought of putting music onto a plastic dinner plate was crazy, but the ensuing trend is crazy-cool. Basically, I just love being able to find so much music that I love for so incredibly cheap--and not on a 'best of' CD.
For instance, I now own Eric Clapton, Chuck Mangione, Simon and Garfunkle, Maynard Ferguson, and the soundtrack to Dr. Zhavago. It 'feels so good' that I think I'm just 'gonna fly now' on 'wednesday morning, 3am.' (For my band geek buds: feel free to come rock out like old times, but at my house and not in the band room.)
IN other news, camp starts in 4 days and I shall once again answer to the name of Rocky. If, for some reason, you feel an immediate urge to contact me this summer, the best way would be via e-mail. I will have my cell phone with me but most likely it will only see the light of day on Saturdays. I will still try to update my blog every week, so you die-hard fans out there can still get a taste of The Daily Grind.
And just in case you want to send me a "Happy 20th Birthday" card on July 13th (hint hint wink wink) you can send it to the camp.

Correction: IT should be "Lake Goodwin Road" not "Laske Goodwin Road." I get so excited that I can't type.

How is everything going at Camp? I believe the weather is the same as here in Germany, wet and rainy?
